Every fall and spring, the 5th and 6th grade parents and students participate in special bar and bat mitzvah preparation classes with the rabbis and the cantor. This year's 5th graders had a lot of fun with Rabbi Miller, Maimone, Neil and me at the annual "Torah Olympics" while their parents got the lowdown on how to prepare for their big day.
